AI inside the grid changes many WooCommerce products from one plain-English command, such as “Add tag clearance and lower prices 20%”. You see what will change before you apply it. AI inside the grid is part of SwiftGrid Pro and runs on your own AI provider account, so your provider bills you for each request.
Before You Start
- Connect your AI provider. See Connecting an AI Provider.
- Create any category or tag the command adds, at ProductsCategories or ProductsTags. AI inside the grid uses existing terms and never creates them.
Change Products With a Command
- Open SwiftGrid and filter to the products, for example one category. Select rows to narrow the list further. The filters and selected rows decide which products the command changes.
- Click the Edit with AI button above the grid.
- Type the command, for example “Add tag clearance and lower prices 20%”.
- Click Preview changes.
- Read the preview. It shows how many products change, up to 20 rows with their values before and after, and the products it skips and why. Click Refine to reword the command.
- Click Apply to N products.
Check the Result
To revert the change, click Undo. Undo stays available until you close the panel. SwiftGrid also records the change, so you can roll it back later from History, using the steps outlined in Change History and Rollback.
What a Command Can Change
A command can change status, regular price, sale price, stock quantity, stock status, categories and tags. One command holds up to 5 operations and covers up to 1000 products. By default, each user can send 10 AI requests in 5 minutes. A command cannot pick products by a condition such as “where out of stock”, so set the scope with the filters and selected rows. The full list is in Editing Products with AI.
What Leaves Your Site
SwiftGrid sends your provider what you typed and a short summary of the scope: the number of products and, when you scope with filters, the filters you set and the search text. It never attaches your product rows.

Your AI assistant can find products, save product rows and change prices in bulk, once you connect it with the free WordPress MCP Adapter plugin. See Connecting an AI Assistant.
