Generate an Invoice
You can generate an invoice and change invoice details in your dashboard; here is how.
- Log in to the user dashboard.
- Click on the Order History link in the sidebar.
- Click the View Invoice link in the order line item you’d like to print or download.
- Once the invoice has opened, locate the INVOICE TO: section at the top right. Click the Update button to update the invoice details.
- Fill out your invoice details as required.
- Click the Save Billing Details & Generate Invoice button at the bottom.
- Depending on your requirements, click the Print or Download PDF button at the bottom of the invoice.
Managing Your Activated Sites
You can manage the sites that your Polestar Premium license is activated on from the user dashboard. This includes viewing your license number and the sites it’s currently being used on, deactivating those sites if necessary, and activating your license on new sites.
- Login to the user dashboard.
- Click on the Order History tab.
- Click the View Licenses link next to the order you’d like to manage.
- Click the Manage Sites link.
You’ll now see your license number and a list of sites your license is currently activated on. Click Deactivate Site if you’d like to deactivate. Use the form below to authorize a new site URL.
Updating Polestar Premium
Polestar Premium is regularly updated with new functionality, addons, and fixes when necessary. To make sure you get the most from Polestar Premium, it’s best to keep the plugin updated. To do so, go to PluginsPolestar Premium and check that your license key is inserted and activated. When we release updates you’ll see them appear at DashboardUpdates. Run the update as you would any other plugin update to get the latest improvements.
Update Errors and Solutions
Below are errors that might be encountered during the update process and how to do to resolve them.
Download Failed: Unauthorized
This error can occur because your license key is expired or not activated on the site you’re using it on. This can sometimes happen if you install Polestar Premium and activate the license key on a temporary URL and then update the site to the final URL.
To resolve the problem, go to the user dashboard and login. Once logged in:
- Click on the Order History tab.
- Click the View Licenses link next to the order you’d like to manage.
- Click the Manage Sites link.
- You’ll now see your license number and a list of sites your license is currently activated on. Click Deactivate Site if you’d like to deactivate. Use the form below to authorize a new site URL.
If your license is expired, you’ll need to renew it before proceeding with the plugin update.
Upgrading Your License
Polestar Premium is offered as a single or an unlimited site license. If you’re using a single site license, you can upgrade at any time. Here is how:
- Login to the dashboard.
- Click on the Order History tab.
- Click the View Licenses link next to the order you’d like to manage.
- Click the View Upgrades link.
- Click Upgrade License next to the license you’d like to upgrade to.
Renewing an Existing License
If your Polestar Premium license has expired and you’d like to renew it, you can do so by following these steps:
- Login to the dashboard.
- Click on the Order History menu item.
- Locate your order and click the View Licenses link.
- Locate your expired license and click the Renew license link.
- Complete the checkout process to complete your license renewal.
