To build a home page with rows, columns and widgets, use Page Builder by SiteOrigin. Puro supports its custom home page tool. Go to AppearanceHome Page after you install the plugin.

Build a Home Page

  1. Go to PluginsAdd Plugin and search for Page Builder by SiteOrigin. Install and activate Page Builder by SiteOrigin.
  2. Go to AppearanceHome Page.
  3. Turn on Custom Home Page.
  4. Build your layout.
  5. Click Save Home Page.

The first time you save, Page Builder creates a page named Home Page. It sets that page as your static front page at SettingsReading. Puro sets the Full Width Page – Unconstrained Content – No Title template for it. See Page Templates.

You can also edit the page at Pages. Click Edit As Page on the Home Page screen to open it in the editor.
