To show a video above a post title, paste the video link at the top of a post and set the post format to Video. On the blog page and archive pages, Puro shows the video above the post title. On the single post page, the video stays in the post content, below the title. It works with any link that WordPress can embed, such as YouTube and Vimeo.
Add a Video Post
- Go to PostsAdd Post.
- Put the video on the first line of the post. In the Classic Editor, paste the link on a line by itself. In the block editor, add a Custom HTML block with the embed code, or a Classic block with the link.
- Set Post Format to Video. In the Classic Editor, this is the Format box.
- Click Publish.

The video must be on the first line of the post. The block editor YouTube and Vimeo blocks do not work here. The video stays in the post body and does not move above the title.
When Puro finds the video, it does not show the featured image.
