Hi,
I would like to use SiteOrigin hero as an alternative to the mega slider. I followed your instructions on https://purothemes.com/documentation/ultra-theme/meta-slider/ to remove the space below the header but I’m still left with a space below the header. I’m not sure what I did wrong.

Sounds like you’re nearly there. Next, go to Pages and edit the home page. Locate the Page Settings meta box in the right column and disable the Header Margin setting.
