How to disable comments?

Comments are managed by the WordPress core so your comments settings will be the same no matter which theme you have activated. Hi Andrew,

There are 4 fields of able/disable comments which confused me!
The only field worked is in ‘Quick Edit’ in Pages.

Glad to hear the Quick Edit helped 🙂

You’ll also find the overall comments settings at Settings > Discussion. Those won’t impact already published pages but will impact your new pages.
