Hello,
What would be the best way to create an opt-in overlay on the home page slider like this http://rockthecurl.com/? Here is my website using the Ultra theme http://angeerobertson.com/

The website in question is using a background image with a MailChimp form widget over it. You could do the same thing with a row background image and the MailChimp widget or perhaps a SiteOrigin Layout Slider widget that would let you add a widget and build a layout in each slide. I recommend experimenting on a test page first.
Thank you Andrew. I was able to create a row and add a widget. It looks great http://angeerobertson.com/home-page-2/ However, how do I get rid of the gray line and the white space above the slider?
