    Hi Kelsey

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Menu Colours

    If you’re making use of Ultra Premium, head over to Appearance > Customize > Theme Design > Main Menu to edit the menu colours:

    Main Menu

    If you’re using Ultra Free you can install a Custom CSS plugin like Simple Custom CSS and edit the menu colours by adding the following rules and editing them:

    /* Main Menu */

    .main-navigation ul li:hover > a {
      color: #0896fe;
    }

    .main-navigation ul ul {
      border-top: 3px solid #0896fe;
    }

    .main-navigation ul ul li:hover > a {
      background: #0896fe;
    }

    .main-navigation .current_page_item > a,
    .main-navigation .current-menu-item > a,
    .main-navigation .current_page_ancestor > a {
      color: #0896fe;
    }

    .main-navigation div > ul > li > a:hover {
      border-bottom: 3px solid #0896fe;
    }

    .main-navigation .menu-search .search-icon:hover:before {
      color: #0896fe;
    }

    .main-navigation .menu-search .searchform input[name=s] {
      border-top: 3px solid #0896fe;
    }

    .main-navigation .menu a:hover:before {
      color: #0896fe;
    }

    Change #0896fe as required.

    Custom Menu

    You can create a custom menu from Appearance > Menus. Once created, assign your menu to the theme’s primary menu location.

    Hi Pata

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Try using the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/. Once activated, go to Settings > Insert Headers and Footers. Insert the script part of the Facebook code into the header field provided.

    The HTML portion of the code can be inserted into a page via the Visual/Text tabs or into a widget in a widget area or Page Builder. Use the Text widget.

    Hope that helps.

    If you’re not already using a child theme you can try this one, it’s a start, we’ll probably have to tweak once you’ve tested it out:

    http://purothemes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/ultra-child-above-footer-widget-area.zip

    * Download the ZIP
    * Install from Appearance > Themes > Add New: Upload Theme > Activate
    * Unfortunately, activating a child theme will reset menu location and Customizer settings, those will need to be redone if you want to use the child theme.

    A new widget area called Above Footer will be added to Appearance > Widgets. If you’re already using a child theme, let me know, we’ll integrate these changes into your new child theme.

    This probably won’t be perfect for you right away. I’ll help get it all lined up 🙂

    Hi 🙂 The menu is taking up the same space as it was before, it’s within the theme’s content container. If you want a full width header you could try something like:

    /* Header */

    #masthead .container {
    	max-width: 95%;
    }

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Hòa

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Unfortunately, the core WordPress read more function is only intended for posts and not pages.

    If you’d like to show and hide content using a toggle switch then you might look at using a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-showhide/.

    You could also use a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/whistles/

    Hope that helps 🙂 Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks for the feedback. I recommend:

    1. Don’t use the Layout Builder, add your widgets directly to the footer widget area.
    2. Use Appearance > Theme Settings > Footer > Copyright Text. This field is for the info below the widgets. You could easily insert divs into that field and then target those with CSS.

    The above would handle the bottom part of the footer you sent in the first example. Then, for the part of the footer above that we could child theme and add a new widget area. Let me work through a few other emails quickly, I’ll come back to this as soon as I can.

    For sure 🙂

    A normal footer setup would involve inserting widgets directly into the footer widget area. The theme will automatically assign each widget a column as added.

    Ultra is fully functional without Page Builder, you don’t need to use the plugin if you’re not enjoying it.

    Remember, all WordPress themes completely overwrite their own folders during theme updates so it’s isn’t update safe to directly edit theme files. If you need to edit a theme file a child theme must be used.

    1. A tall logo like the one you’re working with is hard to display well in a small space so firstly, I recommend: Appearance > Theme Settings > Header: Disable the sticky header.

    2. Go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Design > Header and increase the header height as required. The way the header is setup means the logo won’t push the header height, we need the header to be tall enough to accommodate our larger logo. Try 150 just to test.

    3. Go to Appearance > Custom CSS, remove our previous CSS and instead insert:

    /* Header */

    .tagline .site-header .site-branding img {
        max-height: 140px;
    }

    Hope that helps 🙂

    (Apologies for editing my original reply, it wasn’t correct so I took another look at the problem, hope the above helps. I’m happy to login to the site and assist further if not.)

    Hi 🙂 Really sorry for the delay. We recently updated the way forum notifications work to stop them landing in Spam. It seems we lost our internal notifications in that process. Apologies, we’ll resolve ASAP.

    The Custom CSS is working. Your logo and tagline is now fitting in the header in both the top and fixed position after scroll. The tagline shifts to the right once the header goes sticky to allow the logo more space. This was my understanding of the challenge.

    I’ll take another look at the challenge now and provide further feedback in a moment.

    Thanks for your feedback.

    The Layout Builder changes things a bit. If you don’t already have a Custom CSS plugin installed, go to Plugins > Add New and search for SiteOrigin CSS. Install and activate. Go to Appearance > Custom CSS and insert:

    /* Footer */

    .site-footer .footer-main .widget:last-of-type {
    	float: none;
    }

    That should fix the problem. Let me know how it goes.
