Without a doubt, one of the most frustrating errors WordPress produces 🙂 The total lack of detail really doesn’t help!
Please, try logging out of WordPress and then back in again.
Our plugin conflict guide is applicable for both single and multisite installations:
Please, try running a plugin conflict test. The same test can be run for a multisite site setup as would be run for a single site setup. Temporarily deactivate all plugins. Test the menu. Does it restore? If so, reactivate your plugins one by one, run a test on the menu after each plugin activation. When the issue reappears you would have found the conflicting plugin or plugins.
We’ll be available again in eight hours and can offer further assistance then. The above suggestion is equally applicable for the Customizer challenge reported.
No problem. Let us know how it goes.
Thanks for the update. Please, try running a quick plugin conflict test as outlined here:

Check it out locally and see what you think, you don’t need to use all of it. It’s a slimmed down icon library containing only the icons Ultra uses at the moment.
Thanks for the wait. Please, see our example child theme for the task you’re looking to complete:
Hopefully you’ll find that helpful.
We’ll take a look shortly and report back. Thanks for the update.
Sorry to hear about the problem. Thanks for reaching out.
All looks normal on our side in OS X Chrome. Could you perhaps let us know which menu items aren’t working?

Apologies for missing this post. We had email notifications earlier in the month which have now been resolved.
Have you made any progress with the above challenge?
Thanks for the wait and for your support.
It looks like you’ve made progress with the header and its background colour. Let me know if there is anything else I can assist with at this time.
Thanks for getting in touch.
Which contact form plugin/widget are you using? We can run a few local tests to confirm it’s working normally. Often, the problem can be related to spam filters or it could be related to the mail setup on your server.
