From version 2.5 onwards, Page Builder by SiteOrigin introduces an awesome new feature, copy/paste widgets.

To see it in action, go to any page or post using Page Builder, right click on a widget to bring up the contextual menu, locate and click the Copy Widget link under the Widget Actions heading. To paste the widget, go to any Page Builder row either on the same page or on a new Page Builder page, right click to bring up the contextual menu and click Paste Widget under the Cell Actions heading.

If you’re using Page Builder by SiteOrigin and haven’t had a chance to check out this awesome new feature, give it a try.

This widget is great but I hope in the future like a clipboard we can copy a widget from old website to the new created website but still same domain name.

Hi, thanks for posting. You could perhaps download the page layout. Within Page Builder, click the Layouts button and then Import/Export > Download Layout. That’ll download the Page Builder layout as a JSON file. On your new site, follow the same steps. Edit the page in Page Builder and click Layouts > Import/Export > Import Layout. You’ll be offered the choice to overwrite the existing layout or add it above or below the existing layout. You could perhaps add it below and then remove all the widgets except for the one you wanted to copy/paste. A bit of a workaround I know but perhaps it’ll help? Perhaps, let me know how you get on.

      Cheers

      Andrew
