vumaxParticipantHi Andrew,
I am using Polylang on my website (http://medicalcolumbus.de) and want the homepage sliders to be different depending on the language selection. As you will see, if you toggle between the German, French and English versions, the sliders remain in German. I have the French homepage meta slider set to French slides in the page editor, but will not appear. I think that they are being overridden by the Home Page Slider in the Theme Settings?I know this is an old problem. Is there a new solution?
Thanks

Andrew MisplonKeymasterHi vumax
Thanks for posting. Sorry about this. Unfortunately, on the home page only, it’s a limitation. We were able to solve other sync issues between the Customizer setting and the page setting for the home but at the cost of this problem. I have put a small note about the limitation here: https://purothemes.com/documentation/ultra-theme/meta-slider/#heading-polylang-limitation if anyone would like to read it quickly.
My suggested workaround is to not use the slider setting for the home page (it can be used for all other pages) and instead, insert a Meta Slider widget into a Full Width Stretched Page Builder row and then use Page Settings in the right column to remove the header bottom margin. Please, give this process a try and let me know if I can assist in any way. Sorry for the hassle.
