Single Post Default no sidebar

Hello, how do I make the single post page have no sidebar by default?
I have authors and when they are in Edit Post they keep forgetting to save a new post with the Page Layout set to No Sidebar in Page Settings section.
The sidebar has different content and I don’t want it showing on the single Post page.

Hi, you could try https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-options/ and set the display conditions for each sidebar widget to not display on single posts.
