[Resolved] Show category description on archive page

    Hi Andrew,
    after installation of the child theme, adapting the appearance settings, creating an archive.php in the child theme folder and adding
    <?php echo category_description( $category_id ); ?>
    the category description still won’t be shown. How to fix this?

    Hi Anna

    The child theme provided on our WordPress.org forum included a archive.php file. Is that the child theme you used?

    Here it is: https://purothemes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/puro-child-archive-hotfix.zip

    Let me know and we’ll go from there.

    To confirm, the child theme above should resolve the challenge right away without any additional work beyond installation.
