ahh – I see the settings for cptUI. the slug is lda so if I browse that, the archive works and the navi works. maybe I can work from that. I just need to pull the excert now. thanks.

the_posts_paginationwill work for the custom query you’re using. Just trying to find what needs to be used there.The archive should respond to settings at
Customize > Theme Settings > Blog Archive Content, Full or Excerpt.yes, that works. thanks – the cptUI says I can not rename the slug but I needs it to be newswire instead of lda – I’ll try to figure that out. other than that, it does work.
