Multilanguage Ultra Theme – polylang

Hi colleagues,

My website is in russian as main languages. I would like to add english as second. The main callenge using different plugins i Had is changes of url. I would like to have url like:
1) Russian
http://www.mywebsite.com.ua/contacus
http://www.mywebsite.com.ua/category/service1
2) English
http://www.mywebsite.com.ua/en/contacus
http://www.mywebsite.com.ua/en/category/service1

I have all text translation and tried different plugins, but have issues.
When I activate the Polylang plugin:
1) menu changes. only one category left
2) main page includes all pages in one!

Please advise another plugin to do two languages at website. It could be manual or auto translation

Hi beregod

Thanks for posting.

1. With Polylang you’ll need to assign a menu per language to each menu location as required. Go to Appearance > Menusto do this.

2. You can manage your home page from Pages > Home Page from there you can use Polylang to link the page to the translated page or pages.

Thank you! My solution was next:
1) delete second language and add it again
2) edit pages as you recommended
