    Hi Clara

    Thanks for reaching out.

I’ll do my best to have an update out on Monday that’ll add a page level setting to overlap the header and let you choose either dark or light menu text, based on the image you’ll be overlapping onto. Would that help?

Super, glad to hear Polestar is working out. I’ll get this feature out as soon as possible. It was on the todo list so thanks for the bump 🙂

Here is an early release for you to try:

    https://purothemes.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/polestar.1.1.zip

    Download the ZIP.
    Switch to any other theme.
    Delete Polestar.
Install the ZIP from Themes > Add New > Upload Theme.

A new page setting will be added on the right when editing any page called Overlap. Ideally, you’d have a full width stretched row in Page Builder by SiteOrigin or similar just below the header with the header margin and page title disabled.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Andrew

Can this overlap feature be added to Ultra also? I’ve been using Ultra for a while now and have gotten to know it well so not wanting to switch. I’d also want the option of a transparent main menu (my client wants something like this site here: https://www.celtictrailswalkingholidays.co.uk/walking-holidays/cleveland-way/).

Of, if there is a way to do this in css, I’m happy to do that also.

    Thanks, Karen

Hi Karen, thanks for reaching out. If you have a Meta Slider or Smart Slider 3 slider ready to go, you can try the Page Slider setting in the the right column while editing any page. The transparency setting is at Customize > Theme Settings > Header. We’d still need to adjust the opacity with CSS though so we can do the whole thing with CSS if you’d like. If possible, please open a new support topic and I’ll lend a hand: https://purothemes.com/support/forum/ultra-theme/.
