Pata GoniaParticipantI’m trying to add a Facebook login using the process described on Facebook for Developers.
I am uncertain where/how to add the SDK Javascript as described.
I’m using buddy press and currently the login/register is located in a top bar on the homepage.

Puro SupportKeymasterHi Pata
Thanks for reaching out.
Try using the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/. Once activated, go to Settings > Insert Headers and Footers. Insert the script part of the Facebook code into the header field provided.
The HTML portion of the code can be inserted into a page via the Visual/Text tabs or into a widget in a widget area or Page Builder. Use the Text widget.
Hope that helps.

Puro SupportKeymasterCorrection, insert the script provided by Facebook in the footer field of Header and Footer Scripts plugin.

Pata GoniaParticipantThanks. Everything seems to be in place on the page thanks to your direction, though I still can’t seem to get it to work properly. I’m getting an error about my URL. Not quite sure what that means but I guess I’ll go back to the app dashboard to find out.

Puro SupportKeymasterThanks 🙂
It looks like you had the script in a Text widget above the HTML as well as in the Header and Footer Scripts plugin. I’ve removed the redundant script.
The main problem is that in Facebook settings, you need to go to your app and add the site URL that you’ll be using the app on. That’s the reason for the notification/error message.
Here is a thread that might help:

Pata GoniaParticipantI had www before my site url. I guess that was incorrect! Removed and it works. Thanks for all your help!
