Filip7ParticipantHello,
i have just published a new page, and out of nowhere, all my pages jumped out of the page builder, and they are destroyed. When i try to edit them, they are opened in text editor, not in pagebuilder.
I cannot open any backup revision of any page, because the backup also jump into text editor, not into pagebuilder editor.
Please … Help

Andrew MisplonKeymasterHi I’m really sorry to hear about this. Start with a plugin conflict test. Deactivate all plugins except for Page Builder and then check a page to see if there is any change. Additionally, with all other plugins deactivated, check a new page and see if the PB interface is working there.

Filip7ParticipantThe PB is working normaly, but pages that were allready build using the PB have turned into TEXT mode and cannot be turned back into PB mod. Even the revisions doesnt work.
For example, im tyring to get 3 month old revision, when everything was OK, and when i restore it, it turn into the text editor.
Anyway, I just did the plugin conflict test, and it didnt help.

Andrew MisplonKeymasterSorry, that doesn’t seem to be working for me.
To take a step back for a moment. If you’re not facing any issues on a new page with Page Builder then whatever the problem was appears to have passed. I don’t know of a way to get content that’s been dumped out of Page Builder, back in. If the interface is collapsed on all pages then that’s usually a JavaScript conflict which can be resolved. But, if the interface is fine on all pages then the problem isn’t there anymore. So the only thing I can think to do is run a site backup from before when this occurred. Do you have complete site backups? If not, most hosts keep backups for a running 7 day period. Can you perhaps roll back? We could then login and take a look.
I can’t get passed the initial login form.

Andrew MisplonKeymasterI’ll be online again in 4-6 hrs and can dive in again then. Sorry I can’t stay online now.
A quick summary of the above is that if the PB interface is completely fine on some pages and content has been dumped out on others then it’s very unlikely we’ll be able to restore. Ideally, we need to roll back and then assess the issue before the pages got saved and content dumped out.

Andrew MisplonKeymasterIt might also be an idea to open a support thread here: https://siteorigin.com/thread/. I can the ask Alex from SiteOrigin to offer further advice for us.

Andrew MisplonKeymasterSorry. There is a login form before the WP login. Are these the access details for that very first form? Not a WP form it’s a hosting password. Please try login from another browser and you’ll see it.
