Today, I hit update on the theme (without thinking). I then noticed our logo disappeared from the menu. When I went to add it back in, I realized that this theme only allows for the company title or logo (not both). Please advise as to bringing our menu back to having both our logo AND title.

Were you using Ultra prior to updating? If so, do you know how you were displaying the logo and site title previously? It isn’t a theme setting at this time which is why I ask.

Here’s how it looked before. I am in touch with our webguy but after talking with him, it doesn’t seem like a child theme or a function in Code Snippets plugin were used nor did he directly edit theme files at a code level.
Seems to me that our best option to have the site and menu look as it did before is for me to upload a new image with the logo and title together (as seen here: https://imgur.com/J6ETEYC).

There is most likely a missing link here. At Appearance > Themes, do you see a child theme for Ultra? It’ll most likely be named Ultra Child.

If the logo and the site were displayed next to each other and then disappeared when you updated the theme, it most likely means that at some point theme files were edited and the site title manually included next to the logo. I’ll need to create a child theme for you to use to introduce the site title next to the logo. I’ll try to get that done tomorrow and send it when it’s ready. Chat then 🙂

Please, find an update for Ultra here. Once the ZIP file is on your desktop you can install the update as follows:
* Go to Appearance > Themes, switch to any other theme.
* Delete Ultra.
* Go to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme.
* Once activated to Appearance > Customize > Theme Settings > Header and enable the Display Site Title and Logo setting.
