Hello – I would like to get the homepage slider to look like it does on the demo site (https://demo.purothemes.com/ultra/), but my images are coming out way to big (height) even after sizing them?? There has to be a setting i’m not doing? staging site: http://trevor.deyga.com
Thanks!July 11, 2016 at 8:23 am #4045
Thanks for posting your question.
If you haven’t seen it yet, our tutorial on Meta Slider and the Meta Slider/Ultra integration can be found here.
If you have Appearance > Theme Settings > Stretch Home Slider enabled and Meta Slider > Advanced > 100% Width disabled then the Meta Slider should maintain its height, even at full-width. However, if you disable the Theme Settings stretch option and enable the Meta Slider > Advanced > 100% Width option, the height setting won’t be respected. You can think of it as two different ways to stretch the slider.
As an alternative, you can also consider the SiteOrigin Slider widget which can be added to the first row of your home page, assuming you’re using Page Builder. We can then use a little Custom CSS to remove the spacing below the header.July 12, 2016 at 3:54 am #4062
