Hi jppower175
This error is either due to a plugin conflict or a shortage of PHP memory. The PHP memory issue is the easiest to resolve, contact your hosts and kindly ask if they increase the available PHP memory for WordPress to 256 or higher.
The plugin conflict test is outlined here if you need to move onto that, if the memory bump doesn’t help: https://purothemes.com/documentation/general-wordpress/resolving-plugin-conflicts/.
Well I haven’t installed any plugins yet so…
Memory limit then. You can adjust yourself but there is some code involved. Asking your hosts is the route most users take. Quick email or live chat/phone call if you can, that’s usually faster.
I am using godaddy and they don’t seem to want to help. Is there somewhere I should drop the ini_set(‘memory_limit’, ‘256M’); ?
Here is a tutorial that might help: http://codingcyber.com/how-to-increase-php-memory-limit-on-godaddy-hosting-882/#
Memory is at 256mb now according to my phpinfo but still getting blank screen
Are all plugins deactivated? If yes, does the issue persist with a default theme like Twenty Sixteen?
Here is the ajax error I am getting
I have no plugins installed or activated and no other themes other than ultra installed. This is a fresh wordpress install
Does the issue persist with Twenty Sixteen?
The Console error is a core WordPress error, it looks like files might be missing.
