Hi, i have a problem when i going to upload a file to the ultra theme directory with filezilla i got a permission error.
I’m trying to update the header.php file because i’m going tochange the php shortcode of my slider there.
I can upload files to another folder and it works, but in the ultra theme folder it shows the permission error.Thanks in advance!
Hi thanks for posting. FTP file permissions aren’t under the control of the theme, that would be a hosting level issue.
Please, don’t edit theme files directly. All WordPress themes overwrite all of their files when they update so you will lose any changes you’ve made the next time we release an update and you run the update.
Here is how the Meta Slider integration works: https://purothemes.com/documentation/ultra-theme/meta-slider/. At the bottom of that page you’ll find an alternative option using a SiteOrigin widget.
