elistonerowParticipantHello: a few things about our website had changed and I cannot explain why. Earlier today I posted about my Blog Posts page not displaying blog posts. I also now notice that our Top Bar Menu is not displaying anymore. The Top Social bar does display ok. But not the top bar menu.
I checked the Menu settings to make sure that the Top Bar Menu is still selected. We had not made any changes to it. But it no longer displays.
Help!

Andrew MisplonKeymasterHi
Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry you’ve recently run into a few challenges. I’m, unfortunately offline for the day but will be back at my computer on Monday morning GMT+2 and will be able to assist with this and any other questions you may still have then.
Apologies for the delay. Chat further tomorrow morning at the latest.

Andrew MisplonKeymasterAn idea might be to check Appearance > Theme Settings > Top Bar Menu. Ensure that setting is enabled.
Thanks.March 13, 2016 at 8:19 pm #3168
elistonerowParticipantThat was it!
Is that a relatively new setting? I do not recall it nor know how it would have been turned off if it had been around all along. I do see a new setting (at least to me) that the Top bar menu is now responsive.Thank you for the fast response. My website is back to normal. I have worked out the various issues that I suspect appeared with a Theme update that I missed.

Andrew MisplonKeymasterApologies for the hassle. I’m glad to hear you’ve resolved the challenge. The introduction of the new setting shouldn’t have impacted existing sites, it’s a default enabled setting. I, unfortunately, am unsure as to what happened in this case. Apologies again.
Should any further questions come up, please, don’t hesitate to reach out.
All the best.
