Tom SopkoParticipantThe SimpleCart shopping cart has disappeared from the sidebar on multiple pages. I didn’t change anything!

Andrew MisplonKeymasterHi Tom
Is the widget still present at Appearance > Widgets > Sidebar?

Tom SopkoParticipantIt says Sidebar “Displays on posts and pages that use the default template.”

Andrew MisplonKeymasterDid you previously insert a widget from a third-party plugin (SimpleCart) into the Sidebar widget area? If so, is the widget you previously inserted still inserted? How did you get the cart to display originally?

Tom SopkoParticipantI just pasted [show_wp_shopping_cart] into the sidebar and it works, but I don’t know why it stopped! There’s no standard widget for Shopping Cart.

Andrew MisplonKeymasterShortcodes can be inserted into a number or widgets such as a Text or SiteOrigin Editor Widget. I’m unfortunately, unsure why the widget moved, you can try checking the Inactive Widget area at the bottom of the Appearance > Widgets page. Glad to hear you’ve made progress.
All the best.
Andrew
