GoestabParticipantI, I followed discussions concerning language localisation, but have not found a solution for this issue:
I created in the language folder … wp-content\themes\polestar\languages a de_DE.po and de_DE.mo file, based on the .pot file. All translations were taken eccept of “Continue Reading –>” from the blog overview page with excerpts from blog posts. This translation is not taken form the .mo file.
Does this term “Continue Reading” come from another language file?

Andrew MisplonKeymasterHi Goestab
Thanks for your question.
The Continue Reading text can be changed at Appearance > Customize > Theme Settings > Blog.

GoestabParticipantHi,
I looked into this blog seeting, and there is the German translation entered. I don’t remember, when I entered it, probably when I began to setup the theme.Read More Text

Andrew MisplonKeymasterIn the case of the SiteOrigin Blog Widget there is a Post Read More Link Text setting in the Settings section of the widget.

GoestabParticipantThank you. Yes, I use this,
hm… but in the settings, it is almost nothing customizable, only “Responsive Breakpoint”
(I looked within SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and there “Blog” and clicked here on Settings)
Must I look somewhere else?In the widget itself (when implementing it into my page) , there are no possibilities to update standard texts.
You can only tick: Post excerpt read more linkMay 18, 2023 at 5:55 pm #17345
Andrew MisplonKeymasterApologies, in the SiteOrigin Blog Widget, the Continue Reading Text is part of SiteOrigin Premium: https://siteorigin.com/premium-documentation/plugin-addons/blog/.
You can translate the text, but the string is part of the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, not Polestar. Loco Translate is an easy way to translate strings: https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/.

GoestabParticipantHi,
I installed loco-translate, but there I haven’t found “Continue reading”.In the siteorigin widgets bundle plugin there is a language file and here is “Continue reading”, but when I created a mo file, I hasn’t changed the text in the blog widget.
The Polestar premium plugin has polestar-premium.pot file, but here also I don’t find this text.

Andrew MisplonKeymasterHi, thanks for the update.
The string is specific to the SiteOrigin Widgets Blog Widget, so it won’t be present in Polestar.
Here is a screenshot explanation showing how to use Loco Translate to translate the string in question:
