[Resolved] Meta Slider – Home Page

    Hi,

    I have been resizing images for the Home Page Meta Slider. Documentation suggested 1200 x 480px. But when I upload, my images are not as clear, losing integrity.

    Could you please advise how I can keep the crispness of my images?

    Thanks for posting.

    Unfortunately, if your display is wider than 1200, there will be resolution loss. Full-width sliders are always a bit challenging. What would be better would be to separate the text onto another layer. So save your background image and then save your text as a PNG with a transparent background. You can then either try:

    1. Try the Ultra method I outline here: https://purothemes.com/documentation/ultra-theme/meta-slider/#heading-recreating-the-ultra-home-page-demo-slider

    or

    2. Try the SiteOrigin Hero widget (doesn’t handle responsive as well) OR the SiteOrigin Slider widget:
