There isn’t a text field available in the top bar. You could add that text as a custom link menu item in a new custom menu and assign it to one of the top bar menu locations though.

Sure. Social icons can be added to custom menus using any of the theme’s menu locations as follows: https://purothemes.com/documentation/general-wordpress/social-icons-menus/.
