Good morning,

I have created my site using Puro theme – the problem is the header doesn’t span the full width of site. Have spent hours trying to fix. Can’t seem to do it. Please help!

Rebecca

Hi Rebecca

Thanks for posting. Sure, I can assist with this customisation. Try adding the following to Customize > Additional CSS or the Custom CSS/child theme location of your choice:

.site-header .polestar-container {
	max-width: none;
}

Thank you for such a quick reply!! I added to additional CSS and to the Child Theme in editor. No luck yet.

Do you know something else I can try?

Please, send a URL to your site and I’ll take a look. Thanks.

Actually, turns out I was using this site all wrong.

I’m now using page builder and slowly getting it to look like I want. Slow progress as I’m new to this, but getting somewhere.

I appreciate your help! Thought this process would be like magic. Hahaha. Gotta put the work into learning more first.

Have a good day.

Glad to hear you’re making progress.

Using Page Builder to build layouts on your pages shouldn’t be linked to making your header content full-width, not as far as I’m aware, those would be two separate topics. I can take a look at your header and help with the full-width snippet further if you’d like.

Keep in mind that on each page, you can choose whether or not to build a layout using Page Builder or the core Visual Editor, it’s up to you based on the complexity of the layout on the page required.
