dflowcollectionParticipantHi Guys, we´ve just finished a webpage with polestar theme, but after the last update the footer is not working well on the mobile version of the web. Just firefox is showing it right, but chrome and other browsers can not load the foother.
You can see it yourself: https://www.dflowcollection.com
If you know where is the problem, please tell me what can we do.
Thanks

Andrew MisplonKeymasterHi dflow
Thanks for reaching out, nice looking site. Thanks for the wait 🙂
All is looking normal on my side. Please, can you explain a little further? What is the footer doing on mobile that is shouldn’t be doing? I’m sure we can fix the problem quickly.

dflowcollectionParticipantFirst of all thanks Andrew for your fast answer! I´ve made a video to show you the problem.
When we are in desktop version, everything works great, we have in the footer the general conditions, cookies conditions and legal advices (i tell you because the web is in spanish, but it´s easy to guess).
But the problem cames when we change to mobile version, you scroll down to see the footer but in this moment the page step up, and you can never see the footer (in mobile version).
Also it´s very strange because this not happen in firefox, but is happening in chrome and other browsers.
Thanks for your help Andrew

Andrew MisplonKeymasterSuper, thanks for clarifying.
Is this problem occurring on a mobile device for you? I see the issue in the simulator but the issue doesn’t carry over to my phone. Chrome simulating iPhone 6, I see the problem, actual testing on an iPhone 6, no problem.
If the problem is only occurring on the mobile simulator and not on physical devices then it might be worth ignoring.
The demo site doesn’t have this issue so if you want to try and troubleshoot this you could perhaps start with:
1. Switch back to the parent theme, does the issue persist?
2. Deactivate all plugins at once, does the issue persist? The answer to those two questions might help pinpoint where the issue is. But, if this is only happening in the simulator then it’s debatable whether it’s worth troubleshooting.

dflowcollectionParticipantHello again Andrew, first of all, the issue is not just in the simulator, at least we´ve tried in chrome and default browsers of android devices, and in this scenarios the footer is not working, maybe in ios the problem is solved.
I´ve tried switching back to the parent theme, but the problem is there, and also deactivating all the plugins, but this also doesn´t work.
Do you know if there is any other user with this problem? or just me?
Thanks again for your help!

Andrew MisplonKeymasterThanks. I think I’ve found the issue. I’m not seeing an easy hotfix I can send you. I’ll release an update for the theme this afternoon/evening with the fix included. Sorry for the hassle and thanks for your help.

Andrew MisplonKeymasterPlease, give this version a try:
https://purothemes.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/polestar.1.0.11.zip
Download the ZIP to your desktop. Right click and save as.
Switch to any other theme.
Delete Polestar parent theme.
Install the ZIP from Themes > Add New > Upload Theme.Let me know if that helps.
