dnilesParticipantI’m interested in changing the background color of the header and the background color under the Meta Slider. I can
to find anyway to do that.April 27, 2015 at 7:56 pm #1283
Andrew MisplonKeymasterHi dniles
Thanks for reaching out and giving Ultra a try.
I’ll have colour customisation options out ASAP. For now we could set those using Custom CSS. If you already make use of Jetpack, go to Jetpack > Settings and activate Custom CSS. If you’re not using Jetpack then I recommend using a plugin called Simple Custom CSS:
With your Custom CSS plugin of choice activated, go to Appearance > Custom CSS or Appearance > Edit CSS (Jetpack) and add the following:
/* Top Bar */ #top-bar { background: #313539; } /* Header */ .site-header { background: #fff; } /* Main Page Slider */ #main-slider { background: #f6f6f7; }
There you can change the colour values to the one’s you need for your customisation. If you need help finding out the hexadecimal colour code required, just shout.
Hope that helps. Let me know how you come along.

mano2webParticipantI’m having the same problem, the above solution works great for the top menu bar and the slider.
However when I scroll down the top menu bar will switch back to white upon resizing. Also is there a possibility for changing the whole background color in every page/post…etc?
Thank you!

Andrew MisplonKeymasterHi mano2web
Thanks for posting. If you’re using Ultra Premium, all the color settings can be found at
Appearance > Customize > Theme Design
. You can get an overview of the settings bundled with the premium version here: https://purothemes.com/documentation/ultra-theme/customizer/theme-design/. Ultra Premium would be the best way to adjust colors. If you want to stick with the free version you can perhaps consider a plugin called SiteOrigin CSS which has a visual editor that makes custom CSS much easier.December 4, 2016 at 11:22 am #5615
mano2webParticipantThank you!
The same goes for font types and favicon setting?
December 4, 2016 at 12:15 pm #5616
Andrew MisplonKeymasterSure 🙂
Favicons are part of the WordPress core, you can find our help post on that here: https://purothemes.com/documentation/general-wordpress/adding-a-favicon/.
Font types are included in Ultra premium in the
Appearance > Customize > Theme Design
section. Or perhaps SiteOrigin CSS to change fonts if you wanted to stick with free.December 7, 2016 at 12:43 am #5636
mano2webParticipantThanks! 🙂
I will be honest, hungarian is a hard language to work with because we have a lot of fonts with accents and it makes the font choosing a bit hard.
The only letter which the theme has a little problem is the “Å‘”, it’s a bit bolder than the others.
That’s why I asked but as you’ve mentioned it can be done by both solutions.I know it is not exactly connected to this thread but if I would like to use your theme for more than one websites, is it possible to “buy” it more than once? So for example if I make a website with it, I’ll buy it and if I make another one (and would like to use the premium features of course), I will donate again. (I’ve read that for $50 I can get a ‘multisite’ license but since it’s a bit too much to pay at once for me, I would pay $15 or $20 per site if it’s possible).
Maybe this last question is a bit odd but I think this theme really is great and deserves recognition and donation for you guys to be able to continue this great job of yours with this awesome theme!

Andrew MisplonKeymasterFor sure. If you don’t resolve the funny character issue, let me know and I can assist further.
Thanks for your support. You could indeed upgrade each new site as you need it for $15 recommended or even less if $15 isn’t in your budget.
