Can I get rid of the Category Header, and replace it with an image particular to each category?

Hi, you can try inserting at Customize > Additional CSS or Appearance > Custom CSS:
```
.archive .page-header h1 {
	display: none;
}
```
At Posts > Categories you can edit each category and insert an image in the description field. When you insert the image you can choose alignment and size.

How do you do that. I added in image code and it did not work

When editing a category you can insert media using the Add Media button.

Did that but there is no add media button. In my Posts —> Categories –> Description

Apologies, Yoast SEO plugin is adding rich text support for the description field, I didn’t realize that. You could install Yoast SEO or instead, install a plugin just for this task https://wordpress.org/plugins/visual-term-description-editor/.
