ryno1145ParticipantWe are not very tech savvy and are figuring it out as we go. We have made a lot of progress but cannot eliminate the white space above the hero on our webpages. We eliminated the slider to try to simplify the process but cannot figure out why the hero image separated from the header by whites pace.

Andrew MisplonKeymasterHi Ryno
Thanks for reaching out. I hope to make this a page level setting in an upcoming version. For now, we need to use a little custom CSS. The padding is there because the page expects there to be content. The Meta Slider integration was a way around this but the page level top margin setting will be much better when it is released.
Please, send me a link to the page/s concerned and I’ll help resolve.

Andrew MisplonKeymasterThanks 🙂 Your site is in maintenance mode so I can’t view it. Could you temporarily take it out of maintenance mode or create an account for us using:

ryno1145ParticipantI took that off before I replied. I’ve accessed the site from various sources and am not having trouble getting it to pull up.
If set you up a login but I’m not sure how.
Please double check to see if you are able to view the pages.
Thank you,

ryno1145ParticipantWe were able to take the CSS code suggestion from a previous post you all replied to.
This worked for my Home page but none of the other pages.
Please advise.
Best,

Andrew MisplonKeymasterThanks 🙂
At Custom CSS, change the first rule for the home page to the following:
/* Home */ .home.siteorigin-panels-home .site-content,.page-template-home-panels .site-content { padding-top: 0; padding-bottom: 0; }
For the solutions page, edit the page and change the Page Template in the right column to Full Width – No Page Title. Please, let me know when that’s done. Will send the final snippet.

emveidis24ParticipantHi! I’m having the same issue. This code worked most of the way, but there’s still a small space that I’d like to get rid of. Is that what the “final snippet” does? If so, could you please send it to me as well?

Andrew MisplonKeymasterHi, emveidis24. Thanks for posting your question 🙂 More than happy to assist. This thread is resolved, though. You’re welcome to open a new thread here: https://purothemes.com/support/forum/ultra-theme/ but since you have a thread on the .org page I’ll reply there in a moment. Thanks 🙂
