Please, try temporarily deactivating all plugins and then check to see if a working baseline can be found. This is a quick test that’ll let us know if a plugin conflict is part of the problem.

Why would a Smush Plugin upset a layout:?

Super, thanks for investigating. Within Smush settings, was Lazy Load perhaps activated? If you activate Smush without Lazy Load does the masonry issue persist?
