SpandangledParticipantHi there, I started off using a different theme on my WordPress site, then when I switched to the Ultra theme, the original home page (domain name URL) no longer displays in my list of pages. I would like to unpublish the page but can’t. Any ideas on how to retrieve it?

Andrew MisplonKeymasterHi, thanks for getting in touch.
It’s possible your previous theme created the home page using a custom template and widget areas, meaning a physical page might not exist. I’m a little confused, though. If the page can’t be found, do you need to unpublish it as a maintenance task, or can you see the page somewhere on the site’s front-end?

SpandangledParticipantHi Andrew, thanks for getting back to me! I actually worked it out (should have done some more investigation before reaching out!). I could see it on the front end, but not as a page, then realised the WordPress home page is a blog page by default. Ended up creating a new home page and all good. Thanks
