At present I have 3 block widgets in my footer, but i want to add another that has another full width block above it, I know i can do this with the page builder, but i want this on every page, is this possible?
So, I have 1 full width block and then the 3 widget blocks below it?

Thanks for reaching out.
The theme’s widget area won’t do this without Custom CSS. Page Builder could do it, but you’d need to build the layout in a single layout builder widget. The footer widget area does display on every page.March 12, 2019 at 6:30 pm #12276
What custom css could I use, can you specify specific css within the footer widgets? as it seems that even if you add 4 or 5 or 6 blocks of widgets, it just uses that one row.
Ideally, it would be great if you had a few more rows to play with for content within the main template.March 12, 2019 at 6:37 pm #12277
The challenge with a Custom CSS solution is that it would be very specific to a single layout, you wouldn’t be able to change the layout (e.g: 1 x 100%, 3 x 30%) etc. without changing the CSS.
If you inserted a single Layout Builder widget into the footer, you could build that same layout within the single Layout Builder widget and be able to change it as required. A Layout Builder widget is a mini-instance of Page Builder. If you’d like to try this out go to
Appearance > Widgetsand insert a Layout Builder widget into the footer. It would require removing your existing widgets though and then adding them back within the Layout Builder.March 12, 2019 at 6:50 pm #12278
Got you, right Andrew, thank you I will try that out now and readd the widgets in. Thanks again, that makes sense now.March 12, 2019 at 6:52 pm #12279
Super, sounds good. This would be the most flexible route. If you don’t come right, let me know and I’ll try write up the CSS for you tomorrow.
