    Hi Andrew,

I will be checking everyday for a “boxed layout” version! Hopefully with lots of font and color control.
    No pressure!

    Hi,

Yes, “the background color will still stretch 100%”. I would like it to “contained” and centered like the Header and be able to change the colors of the footer.

I think I’ve read in the forum somewhere that you were going to add more comprehensive control of color and font styles… hope this is the case.

    Thanks,
    Ric

    Hi Andrew,

I have both hard coded style.css and used Simple Custom CSS already as per your previous suggestions from your forum. Simple Custom CSS works well.

Thank you for the child theme. I will give it a try today. Very much appreciated. Yes, I am familiar with Theme updates that wipe out changes in the original css but just wanted to identify and see if I can customize Ultra first.

Thanks for the .container max-width solution.
Actually I am trying to wrestle with getting the footer to be “contained” to the max-width value.

Just read your updated Ultra documentation saying something about the boxed layout version… can’t wait… need it… got a tip to make the footer match max-width with the container? Tried max-width but the footer then is not centered but rather left justified.

    .site-footer .footer-main {background: #7c90c4; color: #f01fa8; padding: 0 5%;max-width: 960px;}

Thanks, looking forward to your reply and “boxed layout” version.

Hi Andrew, thanks for your reply…

    1. Answer: Square Logo to the Left of the Site Title.

Currently I am messing with the style.css

    – h1.site-title font from Muli to Times New Roman
    – font size from 2.57143em to 2.3em
    – .site-branding-container{ max-width from 35% to 60%

The above is to accommodate a long site name without going to another line… and no room for logo… I may have to combine a jpg logo with site name.

    2. Yes, using sticky header, but not that important for sticky header use. If using sticky header, would like Logo and Site Title together.

Thank your for your reply today… what time zone are you in? Do you check the forum everyday? First time here… I have no clue.

    Ric.
