    Andrew,

We removed the code and we will check if anything is broken (unlikely).

Yes, I increased the count to 10 and now we get 10 search results per page.

We are all set. You may close this incident now. Thanks again for your help.

    Andrew,

I removed js folder and search is working fine now – do we need js folder? Sorry about that. But one thing still remains. The search results are given only 1 per page. So if I have 100 hits, I will get 100 pages to scroll through by clicking next. You can use “meditation” to search, and we get 84 pages. Note that we have just now moved from beta to live:

    Home

    Thanks again,
    Srikanth

    Andrew,

Your reply #6111 in “Spacing above Footer Area” post mentions you updated the header.php. Would this help? If you need access to the header file, please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Srikanth

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your help. I downloaded the YouTube WD plugin afresh and now it seems to be working fine. Maybe I messed up the plugin code earlier or they updated it themselves.

I checked that by deactivating FitVids option, the videos still scaled well on laptop and mobile. Since downloading the plugin again resolved the issue as mentioned above, I kept the FitVids option active for now.

You can close this issue. Thanks again for your help.

    Hi Andrew,

Yes, I was missing this line in header.php: if ( siteorigin_setting( ‘header_sticky’ ) ) { echo ‘ sticky-header’; }. After adding this line, it is working well. You can set this case to “resolved”. Thanks a lot for your help.

Sorry, the numbers above are meant to be 2 and 3 (not 1 and 2).

    Hi Andrew,

    1. We can revisit this issue at a later date as for now our focus is on desktop site.

    2. I switched to the parent theme, the sticky header appears well. So is there something on my header file of child theme that is messing it up?

    Thanks,
    Srikanth

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for your help.

    1. Done.
    2. Done. I modified it a bit by adding margin and padding options to reduce the gap between the logo and the title. Just a question: What typical size settings do you recommend for mobile website option? The reason I ask this is, in my cell phone, the logo+title appear well, where as in the Customize option choosing mobile view of the theme, the title goes below the logo. My cell phone dimensions are: 4.3 inches (110 mm) diagonally, with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. Settings>Page Builder>Layout says 780px for Mobile to kick-in. So why does the mobile view in Customize (780px) not show same as what is seen on my cell phone (540px width) as 780> 540?
    3. I still need help here as sticky header is missing.
    4. All set.

So only issue 3 needs to be resolved and issue 2 just needs a clarification.
    Thanks for your help.

    Srikanth

    Andrew,

I created the username with admin rights. I just had the option “Send an email to the user about the account” – I checked that in. I hope you could login.

    Andrew,

The margin for footer was removed only if I use “Page Builder Home” in Template as seen in the homepage now (http://beta.vedantaprov.org). If I use “Default Template” the gap remains. I can continue to use “Page Builder Home” in Template option – that is not a problem, but I just want to let you know what solution actually worked for me.

Second issue: How can I remove the top-bar (red band)? I toggled off “Top Bar” in Appearance>Customize>Theme Settings>Header. I also toggled off top-bar in Appearance>Home Page>Edit as page>Page Settings (I used “Default Template” here as you advised, which brings the footer top-margin back as mentioned above). The bar still appears as seen now. The interesting part is: it shows links for many pages there even though Appearance>Customize>Theme Design>Menus>Top Bar has “Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu” toggled off (IMG1). At this exact place (Appearance>Customize>Theme Design>Menus>Top Bar), “Display location” of “Top Bar Menu” was not chosen (IMG1 in the link below). However, if I choose this location as “Top Bar Menu”, then the Top-bar has no pages and it is all blank as expected, nevertheless the red band is still present (IMG2 in the link below) – I need to remove this band. Note that in Appearance>Customize>Theme Design>Menu Locations>Top Bar Menu has been given as “Select” all the time. Any comments on this please?

I hope this query was not confusing :-). Please let me know if you need more clarity.
