Emotional State In Relationships Your emotional state can have a huge bearing on your success. However I never realized just how much it actually affected your life on a grand scale until quite recently. I always assumed that ‘emotional state’ was some kind of ‘event’ that happened a few times a day. You know, when something good or bad happened to you it affects how you feel in a good or bad kind of way. For example, you are having a good day when suddenly you get some bad news. It’s this news that changes your emotional state from a positive to a negative. This was my model of reality, and my feelings. For some reason I thought it was this simple. Boy was I wrong… In fact I recently learned, “All human behavior is the result of state”. Everything you do everyday is the result of the state your mind is in. You are walking around the house and you suddenly see a big spider which scares the crap out of you (I know it would me). This is your emotional state being altered, and it drives how you act. Yet someone may see the same spider and react with curiosity. They have had a completely different reaction to what you had, and exhibit a completely different behavioral reaction as a result. The same can be said about anything that happens to you on a day-to-day basis. Your particular reaction to anything maybe different from someone else’s because of the emotional state you are in at that particular moment. You, me, and everyone else go in and out of these states constantly during everyday and the reason we have different reactions is because you, me, and everyone else is unique. Let me ask you a question Have you ever wondered how some people can approach women with little apprehension? These guys have completely different responses to most single Dutch guys because their emotional state is altered differently than most other men, when they approach. Instead of feeling so much fear or trepidation that they are unable to approach or struggle to approach, instead their state will more than likely be that of excitement. And this drives them to take action. Yes of course they will have some fear when approaching. Like I have said in the past, the fear never goes away. However it will be to the point where it doesn’t hamper them from doing an approach. The good news is, you can program your mind to experience more of the states you want in the situations you would like to experience them in. If you wanna learn how to do this then you should definitely check out Paul Mckenna’s ‘Change Your Life In 7 Days’. Paul goes into this in great detail and can really help you have a huge positive impact on your life. Highly recommended.
