Both points sound abnormal. I’ll take a look at your site if it’s public ASAP this evening.
I might have lost you here a little. If that’s a Smart Slider, have you perhaps tried my steps?
Edit the Smart Slider, click Size and then scroll down and disable the Force Full Width setting. I tested it and it’s working for me.
I’ll be back online in a couple of hours for any follow-ups 🙂
Try editing the Smart Slider, clicking Size and then scrolling down and disabling the Force Full Width item. That’s working for me.
The SiteOrigin Hero widget might be an option if you want something simple. Sorry for the late suggestion but thought I’d mention it anyway. Here is how to handle that if you ever want to try it: https://purothemes.com/documentation/ultra-theme/home-page-slider/#heading-using-another-slider-plugin-or-widget.
Super, glad to hear you’ve made progress. If you’re using Ultra Premium, please let me know and we’ll shift to email. If not, sorry, I tried for ages to get email replies working with bbPress and eventually gave up.
Did you shift to the child late? If so, all Customizer settings are reset as the theme slug, the ID of the theme so to speak, changes. If that’s case, please, see this short tutorial: https://purothemes.com/customizer-settings-export-import/
Sorry about this. If you go to
Pages > Home Page(name will be whatever your static home page is) and check the Page Slider metabox in the right column and set that to None, does that help?
You’ll still need to set the slider.
Once you’ve created a Smart Slider you can then change the Home Slider or any Page Slider setting to either None or one of your new sliders.
Unfortunately the demo isn’t editable but Smart Slider has some awesome premade templates ready to go. Once a Smart Slider has been added it will appear in the drop down list.
Here is the full explanation:
Hope that helps 🙂
To remove the default info, please go to
Customize > Theme Settings > Site Text. Remove the phone and email and save.
To remove the entire top bar, Theme Settings > Header > Top Bar. Disable the setting.
For sure 🙂 Glad that helped.
All the best.
If you go to Pages and edit the static home page, is it linked to the translation? Once editing the home page, check the Translations meta box top right, is there a translation set?
Sorry, not sure.
1. Go to
Settings > Permalinksand Save (this will reset them).
2. Go to the Settings page of your translation plugin and make sure you’ve set a home page of EN.
Is the Google font you want not available in the theme’s available font settings?
Unfortunately, there isn’t any wrapper so no way to target the ellipsis. You can grab the function in
inc/template-tags.phpand copy it to your child
functions.phpfile if you’d like. Line
$ellipsisis on line
370, you could change it to
I’m not sure why that’s the case. I can see You May Also Like on line
You can copy the entire function into your child theme from
inc/template-tags.php. Copy lines
209into your child
