    Hi Ian

    I’m not seeing any mention of blog on mobile.

    The site isn’t loading Polestar on mobile. The header, menu, search and option to change to desktop is all being delivered from a plugin or third party service. If you’d like the theme to render content normally for mobile, try and find that plugin or service and disable it.

    Thanks. I haven’t found anything yet. Please, can you do a quick plugin conflict test? If you have caching, please clear your cache. Next, temporarily deactivate all plugins at once. Re-test the blog, does the issue persist?

    Super, thanks. My guess would be that something is getting in the way of the theme measuring the featured image which it needs to do in order to get the overlay effect correct. If possible, please could you send a list of the plugins being used so I can try to replicate the problem.

    Hi, thanks for posting.

    I don’t seem to be able to access http://photravel.ru/. Is the URL correct? Is there any geo-blocking?

    I’ll take a look tomorrow.

    Thanks.

    Both the plugin and the theme are adding Font Awesome using the standard handle which is how it’s meant to work. Unfortunately, there isn’t backwards compatibility between FA post version and version 4. To correct this you can install a plugin called Code Snippets and go to Code Snippets > Import and import the following function.

    https://purothemes.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/font-awesome.code-snippets.json

    For reference the function we’re adding is:

    if ( ! function_exists( 'ultra_child_scripts' ) ) :
    function ultra_child_scripts() {
    	wp_enqueue_style( 'font-awesome-4.7.0', get_template_directory_uri() . '/font-awesome/css/font-awesome.min.css', array(), '4.7.0' );
    }
    endif;
    add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'ultra_child_scripts', 8 );

    But if using Code Snippets, download the file and import it into Code Snippets and activate.

    Thanks. Does the issue resolve if you temporarily deactivate Download Manager?

    Ahh ok, ignore the above. This almost certainly is a caching issue. I’m not quite sure what needs to be adjusted in WP Fastest Cache but it’s most likely the cause.

    Thanks, on Stined.dk I managed to see a loss of formatting. I’m not quite sure what would cause that. For the moment, please try going to WordFence Tools and open Live Traffic. Change the filter to Block, is there anything being blocked? For example, is the Headline widget being blocked at any point, if it is, click Whitelist Parameter.

    Is anything being blocked? If so, does the whitelist option help?

    Hi. An issue might be arising from Download Manager also using Font Awesome. Is that a plugin you’re making use of?

    Thanks.

    I’m not at my computer for a few hours. To help I’d need to see the site as it is now so I can inspect the red text and let you know where it’s coming from. So if you can leave it up, I’ll get back to you in a few hours.

    Hi Annemette

    Thanks for reaching out. For what it’s worth, I think the Hero looks really nice as it is in white text 🙂 How are you adding the red? Via the settings in the Hero widget?

    So put another way, the settings of the SiteOrigin Hero widget aren’t maintaining is that correct or are you styling the Hero with Custom CSS?
