    Any chance you could send us your projects backup so we could take a quick look at how it’s rendering? If that’s ok then head to:

    Tools > Export click WordPress, install the plugin if necessary.
    Then go back to Tools > Export and just export the Projects post type.
    Upload to your Media Library and send us the link.

    Thanks.

    Hi Dan

    Thanks for your support; great to hear from you.

    We’ll need to swap the order of functions in header.php so this will require a child theme. I’ve worked one up for you. It’s easy to install but, unfortunately, activating a child theme will cause the Customizer > Theme Design section to reset. It’s a bit of a mission. Here are my steps for installation:

    1. Download the child theme ZIP file:
    https://purothemes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/puro-child-slider-before-header.zip

    2. Before installing, open Appearance > Customize > Theme Design.

    3. Install the child theme in a new tab, leaving the Customizer open in another tab.
    Appearance > Themes > Add New: Upload Theme > Activate.

    4. Go to Appearance > Menus and re-assign the menu location settings. Those get reset when a child theme is activated.

    5. Now for the mission. Open Appearance > Customize > Theme Design. In your original tab you have all the settings you saved. Use that tab to visually/manually copy your settings over to the new tab.

    Your slider should now be displaying above the header, the Customizer has been setup again and menu location settings saved again. You should be good to go.

    Let me know how you come along 🙂

    Hi Nicole

    Thanks for reaching out.

    We shouldn’t be seeing page not found. Can you try going to Settings > Permalinks and just clicking “Save”. That’ll re-write your site’s htaccess file and might help.

    Which theme were you using before this? I ask because Ultra doesn’t have Jetpack Portfolio support, but, depending on how your site looked before, I might be able to child theme a solution for you today.

    Hi 🙂

    Thanks for reaching out.

    It does indeed. To give it a try, switch from the child to the parent from Appearance > Themes. I should be online most of the weekend so let me know if you run into any hassles and I’ll do my best to resolve.

    Hi Craig

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Sure; head over to Pages > Home (assuming your home page is called home) and use the Page Template drop down menu in the right column to select Full Width – No Title.

    The list of available page templates can be found here: https://purothemes.com/documentation/ultra-theme/page-templates/.

    Hi Command

    Great to hear from you. Just in case you need it, the documentation for this is here:

    Home Page Slider

    Full width is always a little tough to get right. Could I perhaps take a look at the site and advise from there? You can use the Set as private reply checkbox below to keep your URL private.

    Thanks

    Thanks for the wait.

    If you head over to Appearance > Customize > Theme Design > Header and set the tagline font size to 19px the following should then work:

    /* Logo and tagline inline */

    .site-header .site-branding {
        display: flex;
        -webkit-align-items: center;
        align-items: center;
    }

    .site-header .site-branding-container {
    	max-width: 40%;
    }

    .site-header .site-branding img {
        display: inline-block;
        margin-right: 5px;
    }

    .site-header .site-branding h2.site-description {
        display: inline-block;
        vertical-align: middle;
    }

    Remove all the previous Custom CSS and use the above.

    Not at all, I should have sent CSS for both. One moment…

    Ahh right, my CSS was for the site title and site tagline. Let me re-work that for the logo and tagline. One moment.

    Oh dear! Sorry about the mistake. Yes, corrected, it should have been:

    /* Logo and tagline inline */

    .site-header .site-branding h1.site-title {
    	display: inline-block;
    	margin-right: 0.5rem;
    }

    .site-header .site-branding h2.site-description {
    	display: inline-block;
    }

    Please, use the Set as private reply checkbox below the comment form and send me your site link with the Custom CSS in place so I can take a look.

    Thanks

    Hi

    Thanks for reaching out 🙂

    Let’s try at Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Logo and tagline inline */

    .site-header .site-branding h1.site-title {
    	display: inline-block;
    	margin-rigth: 0.5rem;
    }

    .site-header .site-branding h2.site-description {
    	display: inline-block;
    }

    Tweak that as required and let me know how you come along.
