    Pages > Home has it’s own slider settings. They are designed to duplicate whatever you set at Theme Settings > Home. Is there is any chance if you go to Pages > Home and check Stretch Slider in the Page Slider metabox in the right column? Just guessing now, but worth a quick check.

    Ok, with you now. Mmm! Any chance I could take a look? You could perhaps drop the maintenance mode for a few mins. Another option is to create a regular Subscriber user account for me (support@siteorigin.com).

    It does, thanks 🙂 Please, check Appearance > Theme Settings > Home, there is an overlap setting there. Is it enabled? Try disabling it. Does this resolve the challenge you’re having?

    Hi Joe

    Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about the hassle. Could you perhaps send your URL through so I can take a quick look. Below the comment form there is a Set as private reply checkbox if you’d like to keep your site URL private 🙂

    Hi mjrumali

    Thanks for reaching out.

    If you haven’t yet created your blog page, go to Pages > Add New, create a page called blog. Then go to Settings > Reading and assign your Blog page as the “Posts Page”.

    Head over to Appearance > Menus, create a custom menu and assign it to the Primary Menu location. Then add your pages including Blog to the menu. Drag to re-order.

    For more on custom menus, please, see: http://purothemes.com/documentation/general-wordpress/menus/

    Let me know how that goes 🙂

    Super, really glad to hear you’re making progress. Have you tried using the SiteOrigin Button widget? To get access to that you need the Widgets Bundle installed: https://wordpress.org/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/. From there you can activate the widgets you want to use at Plugins > SiteOrigin Widgets. Give it a go.

    We’ll need to introduce a new min-height for the image like this:

    @media (max-width: 681px) {
        .full-bg {
            min-height: 450px;
        }
    }

    Set that to whatever you want the image height to be on mobile.

    You can move the text around with padding. This is a padding declaration:

    padding: 2px 2px 2px 2px;

    Top, right, bottom, left.

    Add that declaration to this rule:

    @media (max-width: 680px) {
    .full-bg h1 {
    font-size: 16px;
    }
    }

    So it’ll look like this:

    @media (max-width: 680px) {
    .full-bg h1 {
    font-size: 16px;
    padding: 20px 0 0 0;
    }
    }

    Then adjust.

    You can adjust padding in that rule too.

    No problem 🙂

    Ideally remove the empty rows below the main row. We can use CSS for that space if you need it.

    The text isn’t responsive right now but you can make it responsive with:

    @media (max-width: 680px) {
    	.full-bg h1 {
    		font-size: 16px;
    	}
    }

    Adjust as required.

    Glad to hear you’re making progress.

    The h1 tag is HTML so it won’t do anything if inserted into a style.css file or Custom CSS plugin.

    If you’d like, go to Users, create an Administrator account and use support@purothemes.com as the email address. I’ll login quickly and make these last little changes for you. You can check each part out when I’m done.

    It doesn’t look like the other styles I sent have been inserted yet. That explains the height related issues.

    It looks like you’re using a Custom CSS plugin. That’s great. Rather take all of your CSS from the child style.css file and put it into your Custom CSS plugin.

    So everything after this line in style.css (child):

    ————————————————————– */

    Thanks 🙂

    Edit the Visual Editor widget, click over the Text tab and remove everything, next, insert:

    <h1>big stones to little stones</h1>

    Find full-bg h1 in your style.css file and replace it as follows:

    .full-bg h1 {
        color: #000;
        padding-top: 50px;
        text-align: center;
    }

    All we’re doing there is putting the text align into our CSS for easier control from one place.

    To get your image running nicely let’s do this.

    1. Remove all the excess markup from the Text widget. This is all we need:

    <h1 style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #000000;">big stones to little stones</span></h1>

    We’ll do the rest with CSS.

    2. Edit the row concerned. Click Attributes top right, enter the following in as a Row class, the first field:

    full-bg

    3. Go to your child style.css file and let’s target this class:

    /* Custom Page Builder Classes */

    .full-bg[style] {
        background-repeat: no-repeat;
        background-size: 100% !important;
    }

    .full-bg h1 {
        color: #000;
        padding-top: 50px;
    }

    @media (min-width: 681px) {
        .full-bg {
            min-height: 870px;
        }
    }

    (You can also strip the following from your h1 tag as we’re setting with CSS:

    <span style="color: #000000;">

    Mostly un-tested 🙂 Let me know how it goes.

    Right now the logo doesn’t dynamically adjust. You can use the following:

    @media (max-width: 680px) {

        .site-header .site-branding img {
            max-height: 45px;
        }

    }

    Add that under the /* Logo */ section in your child CSS. Adjust the 45px value as required. 680px is the breakpoint at which the change will happen.
