That was it!
Is that a relatively new setting? I do not recall it nor know how it would have been turned off if it had been around all along. I do see a new setting (at least to me) that the Top bar menu is now responsive.
Thank you for the fast response. My website is back to normal. I have worked out the various issues that I suspect appeared with a Theme update that I missed.
This is no longer an issue. I cannot tell you what change I made, but I did modify the content of information in our footer where the copyright goes. The footer content was much longer and included our corporate motto but that was no longer displaying correctly. when I modified to only include the copyright, year and name, the blog posts seem to be displaying. This might not make sense but you can lose this item now.
I have implemented most of your suggestions!
I now have top bar menu and MetaSlider displaying on mobile. A much more interesting site now!
For shifting the Drop Down Menus to the left, the suggested change worked great for Chrome and Firefox, but IE seems to be ignoring the change on Desktop. I use Chrome on my mobile and it looks good there. Weird behavior by IE or is that typical uncooperative IE behavior? 😉
I decided to not make the change to the CSS for the tagline. While it worked well on the desktop site, it had a strange result on mobile where the logo got squished down to a very small size, and the tagline was large and split into many lines. Maybe we’ll just shorten the tag line a little bit. I’ll let my marketing people worry about that 🙂
Thank you for all of your help! This theme is really fantastic. Makes a HUGE difference in the look of our site. This reply has been marked as private.
